I occasionally make an inflammation tea for my mom and this time I decided to add Black Cherry juice and dried orange peel. You would think a drink with 18 cloves in to would be very punchy however the honey, ginger, and black cherry really balances out the flavors.
18 Fresh ground Cloves
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
3 tbsp honey citron and ginger tea jelly (one tbsp per cup)
4 1-2 cup water (1 1/2 cup per cup)
6 tbsp juice of black cherry (2 tbsp per cup)
1/5 sundried orange peel
